Meet the Maker

Whether it’s working as a Principal Software Engineer, or in the kitchen as the cook in the house, Jason has always enjoyed exploring his creative side. He began woodworking in 2020 during the beginning of the COVID pandemic. With more free time available at home, it was a great way to be creative and learn new skills. Starting with projects around the house and quickly turning out planter boxes, cutting boards, charcuterie boards and coasters for friends and family as gifts, he decided to create Dusty Beard Woodcrafts in 2021. Jason loves working directly with his clients to design and deliver beautiful works of functional art. When not in the woodshop, the kitchen or behind a computer, Jason loves to explore the many miles of trails in the PNW with his wife, Lindsay. Avid hikers, you can usually find them somewhere deep in the Cascade Mountains.

Jason and Lindsay have two wonderful children, Hailey and William.
